The ConvaTec GentleCath™ Glide Hydrophilic Intermittent Coudé Catheter 421908 is designed to provide a smooth and comfortable catheterization experience for male users who require a coudé-tip catheter. The curved coudé tip is engineered to assist with passage through anatomical obstructions such as enlarged prostate conditions or urethral strictures, helping support easier catheter insertion when a straight-tip catheter may be more difficult to use.

Manufactured from hydrophilic-coated PVC, the catheter utilizes ConvaTec’s FeelClean™ Technology to create a smooth, lubricious surface once activated with the included sterile water sachet. This hydrophilic coating helps reduce friction during insertion and removal while eliminating the need for separate lubricating gels.

The catheter features two fire-polished staggered eyelets that support effective drainage and user comfort. An integrated no-touch handling sleeve allows for improved control during insertion while reducing direct contact with the catheter surface, supporting cleaner catheterization practices.
